He was predeceased by : his mother Barbara H. Prater. He is survived by : his father Jimmie Prater; his siblings, Marilyn Chenevert (Gregory), Beverly (Joseph), Jayne Prater of Franklin, LA and Michael W. Prater; and his nephews, Gregory Chenevert, Jr., Clyde, Montit and Michael, Jr..
