She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Norwood and Rose Mary Toups; and her grandparents, Alton Joseph Norwood, Doveline Eve Bergeron, Edgar Alfred "Shine" Prejean and Marie Rogers.
She is survived by: her husband Kevin Cothron; her sons, Dennis Norwood (Christine) and Britten Businelle (Shari); and her sister Donna Hanks. She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
