He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin LaPoint and Linda LaPoint; and his nephew Mark LaPoint. He is survived by: his children, William LaPoint Jr. (Ronica), Trampas LaPoint (Kayla) and Ellysia Roy; his brothers, Alvin LaPoint Jr. (Christine) and Tony LaPoint (Twila); and his grandchildren, Sage, Bentley, Gracielyn, Kase, Kita and Layla.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Twin City Funeral Home (412 Fourth St, Morgan City, LA 70380). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
