He is survived by: his wife Mary Bizette Jarreau; his children, Phillip Jarreau, Shannon Whitaker, Christy Whitaker and Todd Whitaker; his grandchildren, Harlee (Shaden), Megan (Patrick), Jerrica, Mariah (Carnellius), Olyvia, Alyssa, Phillip, Jr., Brooklyn, Easlynn, Gracie, Tyler, McKinley, McKenzie, Trevor, Trenton, Braydon and Brennan; his great grandchildren, Jeremias "Booda", Jernei, Jacei, Nevaeh and Autumn; and his siblings, Lloyd Jarreau, Katherine Carmouche, Claude Jarreau, Iris Matherne, Chippy Jarreau and Ronnie Jarreau. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
