He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Fay Shirley Stracener; and his sisters, Beverly Stracener and Joyce Allemang. He is survived by: his daughters, Miranda "Mandie" Trahan (Luke) and Carey Stracener; his grandchildren, Damion Stracener, Lauren Brinson, Kammie Trahan and Jessie Trahan; his brothers, Billy Stracener (Darlene) and Bobby Stracener (Traci); and his brother-in-law James Allemang.
