He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wylie Powell and Hazel Kidwell Powell; his wife Margie Jewel Powell; his son Stephen White; his granddaughters, Donna Harmon and Maryann Lee; his great grandchild Allie Higdon; and his sisters, Christine King and Betty Turpin.
He is survived by: his children, Alrita Saucier, Roger Powell (Linda), Eddie Powell (Donna), Anna Austin (Roger) and Randall Powell (Ana). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
