It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward John Liptak Sr. of Moss Bluff, Louisiana, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward D. Liptak and Enes Liptak (Lardi); his son Edward John Liptak, Jr. of Lake Charles; his stepmother Stella Liptak (Ragule); and his siblings, Vincent Liptak, Michael Liptak and Theresa Pike.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Lejeune Liptak; his children, Matthew W. Liptak (Nikki) of Lafayette, Jean M. Nunez (Anthony) of Longville, LA, Elizabeth A. Liptak of Houston, TX, Susan M. Bubar of Denver, CO, Carolyn A. Liptak of Denver, CO and Jennifer A. Smith (Brian) of Sulphur, LA; and his sister Genevieve West (Richard) of Rock Tavern, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be made to the Knights of Columbus at St. Theodores and the American Diabetes Association.
