She was predeceased by : her parents, Patrick McCauley and Martha McCauley; her husband Roland Esthay; and her sisters, Winnie McCauley Picard, Bossett McCauley Reed, Dean McCauley Hoffpauir and Wilda McCauley Smith.

She is survived by : her children, Deborah Esthay Mayfield (Kevin) of Pearland, TX and Karl Esthay (Debbie Phillips Esthay) of Moss Bluff; her brother Jimmy McCauley (Leola); her grandchildren, Tiffani Dunn Laverell (Justin) of Angleton, TX, Brooke Mayfield Weddle (Brad) of Angleton, TX, Hunter Esthay (Miranda) of Moss Bluff and Kameron Esthay (Sheridan) of Waco, TX.; her great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Peyton, Westin Laverell, Kennedy Weddle, Holland and Mauri Esthay; and her brothers-in-law, Terry Esthay (Bessie) and Wilbert Esthay (Jenny).

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff (2171 US-171, Lake Charles, LA 70611). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
