He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Geneva Johnson and Lloyd Victor Ash; and his sister Vicky Parker. He is survived by: his wife Linda Faye Breaux Ash; his children, Kelly Jones (Tony Hensley), Tisha Benoit (Brad Gimnick), David Benoit and Timothy Dwight Ash II (Leah Tevis); his grandchildren, Gavin Jones, Austin Gimnick, Reagan Weeks, Caden Benoit and Caitlyn McCleanhan; his great grandchildren, Paisley Weeks, Piper Weeks and Kruz Diamond; and his siblings, Delores Rosefeld and Dane Ash. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home - Moss Bluff (2171 US-171, Lake Charles, LA 70611). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
