He is survived by: his children, Artis Lewis (Brandy), Joseph Daggs, III, Treveyon Hawthorne, Ja'kise Nora, Beatrice Landry, Chanell Daggs Powell (Andre), Nicole Daggs, Antquel Fleanders, Breanna Daggs, Jarenay Daggs, Jayla Daggs, Jalaya Daggs and Journee Daggs; and his sisters, Marion Johnson, Jackie Williams, Joyce Ann Daggs, Valerie Daggs and Loretta Daggs. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
