She was predeceased by: her parents, Alcess Rogers and Carmelite Rogers; her husband James W. "Jim" Jenkins; her son Ronald "Ronnie" Jenkins; her granddaughter Sarah Ann Jenkins; her stepgranddaughter Elizabeth Morel Dunnington; and her siblings, Rita Rogers Bush and Harold Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, James A. Jenkins (Terry), Gwen Jenkins Vial (Donald), Roger Jenkins (Debi) and David Jenkins (Debbie); her daughter-in-law Myra Jenkins Sharpe; her grandchildren, Brian Vial (Christie), Ben Vial (Amber), Bryce Jenkins (Kailey), Dakota Jenkins, Cade Jenkins (Brie), Brittany Jenkins Perez (Myles), Claire Vial Mauer (Matt), McKenna Jenkins Bregman (Martijn), Jessie Jenkins Kirkpatrick (Joshua) and Rylie Jenkins; her stepgranddaughter Amanda Higginbotham (Chad); her great grandchildren, Baylor Perez, Hannah, Clay Vial, Emilie, Elena, James Vial, Marley, Margot, Monroe Mauer, Briley Jenkins, Josie Jenkins and Baby Bregman; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Savannah and Dawson Kelly; and her siblings-in-law, Guy Jenkins (Norma), Sue Jenkins Hamilton (Bob) and Virginia Rogers.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Natalbany Baptist Church (48024 Parsonage Rd, Natalbany, LA 70451). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at the Mt. Stevens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Nehemiah Fund at Natalbany Baptist Church.
