It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E. Durr (Natchitoches, Louisiana), who passed away on February 24, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Durr and Lilliemae Durr; his children, Chris Durr and Robyn Garza; his siblings, Roger Durr, Carrie Mae Byrd, Gloria Jean French, Lura Sue Irvin and Mary Masters; and his nephew Brad Durr.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his children, Joseph Durr, Jacqueline Durr of South Carolina and Shay Haude of Texas; his son-in-law Raul Garza; his grandchildren, Dawson, Ethan, Meagan, Morgan, Marena, Eugene, Liam, Julia, Makenzie, Elijah, Harrison, Tyler, Weston, Anna, Liberty, Noah and Ian; and his siblings, Jerry Durr, Bobby (Linda Durr), Connie (Smitty Smith) and Tammy Jo (Kevin Trichel). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and friends.
