He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Eber (Willie Belle Herrington) and Charles; and his wife Janet Shetley Herrington. He was also cherished by his three children and 9 grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Natchitoches (508 2nd St, Natchitoches, LA 71457).
