With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Lorraine Darche Salard in Natchitoches, Louisiana, who passed away on November 10, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Buzz. She is survived by: her children, Doris Whatley (Dan), John Salard, Gary Salard (Michelle), Greg Salard (Laura) and Glenn Salard; her daughter-in-law Pat Salard; her husband Herbert "Buzz" Salard; her daughter Judy Phillips; and her brothers, Lester and Phil. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends may honor Mrs. Salard by donating to either of her favorite charities: St. Jude's Children's Hospital (stjude.org) or the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home (lbch.org).
