He is survived by: his brother Rev John H Cunningham; his wife Patsy Oliver Rosbottom; his sons, Joe (Terri), John (Kim) and Roger (Rachel); his stepchildren, Harold Rosbottom, Jr. and Amy Beiringer (Andy); his grandchildren, Joe Payne, Caitlin, Hannah and Renea; his stepgrandchildren, Catherine, Elizabeth, Christopher, Harold III and Carter; his nephew Joe; his caregivers, Oscarine Robinson, Mary Johnson, Shirley Stevenson, Hattie Beard, Cheryl Dixon, Ruby Efferson and Marie Law; and his grandsons, Joe Payne Cunningham III, Scott Cunningham, John Blanchard Cunningham, Christian Cunningham, Ryan Cunningham and Reagan Cunningham. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the Minor Basilica (145 Church St, Natchitoches, LA 71457). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home (848 Keyser Ave, Natchitoches, LA 71457). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Minor Basilica (145 Church St, Natchitoches, LA 71457).
