She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer Birdwell and Mary Tate Birdwell. She is survived by: her daughter Meagan E. Carney (Johnny R. Carney III); her siblings, Mike Birdwell (Tonia), Brenda "LuLu" Birdwell and Becky Kniffin (Lyle); her grandchildren, Huxton Briggs Carney and Emersyn Grayce Carney; and her siblings' children, Misti Birdwell, Chris Birdwell (Misty) and Leighton Kniffin (Charity).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 at 5:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Jennings Chapel (368 LA-1221, Marthaville, LA 71450).
