We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2024, at the age of 87, Laddie Joe Potmesil of Natchitoches, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may we find a sense of peace, knowing that the memories we hold dear will continue to shape and inspire us, keeping Laddie Joe's spirit alive in our hearts and actions. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness we show others and the joy we find in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Laddie Potmesil and Emily Smetak Stockman; his wife Ina B. Potmesil; and his granddaughter Chloe P. Bordelon. He is survived by : his children, Billy Darren Potmesil (Tammy) and Princess Potmesil; his sisters, Doris Jewell and Jean Hanna; and his grandchildren, Kristi Gilcrease, Carley Potmesil, Stewart Mudge Jr., Princess Morgan Caskey and Kristen Nicole Bordelon. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Joe's Home.
