With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leon L. Simmons Jr. in Natchitoches, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon L. Simmons, Sr. and Lucille Sparks Simmons; his siblings, Dorothy Mae Simmons, Chlotilde Simmons Jackson and Billy J. Simmons; his nephew Albert S. George, III; and his niece Cassandra George Tidwell.
He is survived by: his sister Betty J. Simmons Lawrence; his nieces, LuAnn Brown, Victoria Robles and Connie Jackson; his nephew Lonny A. George; and his sister-in-law Laverne Simmons.
A burial will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Warren Cemetery (4598 Warren Church Rd, Many, LA 71449). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
