She was predeceased by : her husband William Lee Cocherl; her parents, Alfred Babers and Mary Babers; her children, Susan Gayle and John William; and her sisters, Elma Simmons, Margaret Hebert, Frances Larsen, Clara Christen and Johnnie Ruth Thomas.

She is survived by : her daughter Deborah Lee Cocherl Garner. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
