She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustave Lastie Broussard and Lea O'Connor Sompayrac; and her siblings, Arnold Augustine Broussard, Gus O'Connor "Happy" Broussard, Albert Tate Broussard and Penny Lea Broussard Cox.
She is survived by: her sister Daisy Virginia Broussard Evans of Natchitoches. She is also survived by aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home (848 Keyser Ave, Natchitoches, LA 71457). A Mass was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (119 Tally St, Campti, LA 71411).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the "Building Fund" of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 119 Tally Street, Campti, Louisiana 71411, or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
