With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nelda Lorenne Tate of Natchitoches, Louisiana, born in Dubach, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 5, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Frasier and Pearlie Luncford Frasier; her former husband Clovis C. Tate; and her son Craig Tate. She is survived by: her husband Dylan McDermott; her daughters, Lorie Tate Speer and Melissa Rene'Tate Jennings (Lawrence); her siblings, Margaret Frasier Brewster and James Elton; her sisters-in-law, Billie Heard and Christy Brown (Max); her grandchildren, Barron Brumley, Jacob Shaw, Daniel Shaw (Kaylyn), Jeanette Smith, Sarah Landry (Casey), Grace Campbell (Rebecca), Faith Matthews (Benjamin), Race Jennings, Colt Jennings, Christen Tate, Casey Tate and Colin Tate; her great grandchildren, Anthony Shaw, Lydia Mogridge, Gabriella Shaw, Robin Matthews, Charlie Justine Matthews, Bobby Craig Arterberry, Roslyn Garbert, Delilah Campbell and Ulrich Matthews; and her sons, Jim Frasier, Jeff Brewster, Doug Boyd, Walter Garner, Durwood Thomas, S. G. Martin, Wayne Walker, Harold Faust, Jack Ingram, Wetherington and Norman Hicks. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
