It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Marie Davis (Natchitoches, Louisiana), who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Davis and Leola Davis; her children, Chuck Severance, James Severance, David Barbo and Sonya Campbell; and her siblings, Eloise Wheeler, Pearl Etie, Lucy Flores, Charlotte French, Johnnie Bass, Julius Davis and Sunny Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Severance, Jill Brown, Ray Barbo, John Barbo and Tina Kazen; her pet Lucy; her brothers, Andrew Davis and Isadore Davis; and her grandsons, Bubba Severance, Johnny Severance, Chucky Severance, Jay Kazen, David Barbo, Nate Barbo and Matthew Barbo. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other chosen family members.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home (848 Keyser Ave, Natchitoches, LA 71457). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anne's Catholic Church (4310 LA-485, Robeline, LA 71469).
