It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Carpenter of Natchitoches, Louisiana, who passed away on September 17, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, J. R. Rond and Willie Mae Jordan Rond (Jordan); her great grandchild Teegan Rae Stewart; and her siblings, Ola-Dean Barbo, Roland, Charles and Danny Rond.
She is survived by : her husband Raymond Carpenter of Natchitoches, LA; her children, Greg Carpenter (Mary Lou) of Cape Coral, FL, Cynthia McClure (Conrad) of Natchitoches, LA, Leatrice McNabb (Bruce) of West Monroe, LA and Stephanie Hanagriff (John) of Brandon, FL; and her sister Audrey Oxley of Sulphur, LA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren.
