He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Clarence Joines and Dorothy Watts Joines; his sister Rhonda Ross; and his nephew Thomas Welch. He is survived by: his wife Lauren McManus Joines; his daughters, Jennifer Hudson (Allen) and Jamie Hannegan (Todd); his nephew Dustin Davison; his grandchildren, Taylor Hudson (Samantha), Adam Hudson (Daci), Emily Bumgardner, Carlie Steele (Will), Ethan Bumgardner, Cooper Hudson, Chloe Waxley (Barrett), Lucy Hannegan and Callie Hannegan; his great grandchildren, Elijah Hudson, Cora Bumgardner, Carter Paige Hudson, Israel Hudson and Theo Hudson; his siblings, Dorothy Davison (Otis) and David Joines; Amanda.

Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Westside Baptist Church (6834 Hwy 1 Bypass, Natchitoches, LA 71457). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
