He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Perry Land and Alice Futral Land; his former wife Jeanne Leger Land; his wife Carol Colgin Land; his daughters, Kathleen Miller and Paula Guidry; his son-in-law Johnny Miller; and his siblings, Carolyn Ernst, Ward Land and Thomas Land.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Land O'Quinn (Dan) of New Iberia and Arthur "Davey" David Land, Jr. (Diane) of Scottsboro, Alabama; and his stepchildren, Dawn Lynd, Lori McDuffie, John Gottschalk, Michele Dove (Wayne) and Kelly Aucoin (Cindy). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
