He was predeceased by : his parents, Neil Nelson and Laurene Shea Nelson; and his brother Bruce T. Nelson. He is survived by : his son Koby Bonin of New Iberia; his grandson Victor Bonin of New Iberia; his brothers, Kris Nelson of Maurice and Shawn Nelson of New Orleans; his nieces, Krystal Allegro of Destin and Kristin Rogers of Navarre, Florida; and his nephew Keith Nelson of Navarre, Florida..
