Clifford Joseph Dronet Sr. Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clifford Joseph Dronet Sr. (New Iberia, Louisiana), who passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adamar Dronet and Edmay Credeur Dronet; his wife Janet Bonin Dronet; his daughter Abby D. Musselwhite; and his siblings, Harry Dronet, Adenis D. Ridder, Eva May Dronet, Mabry Dronet and Emile Dronet.

He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann D. LeBlanc (Robbie), Debbie D. Halphen (Dennis), Janie D. Leger (Brent), Clifford J. "Skip" Dronet, Jr. and Lance J. Dronet (Margaret); his son-in-law David Musselwhite; his grandchildren, Stephanie LeBlanc, Elizabeth LeBlanc, Quincy LeBlanc, Rocky LeBlanc, Ashley Lipari, Elliot Halphen, James Leger, Franny Do, Stewart Musselwhite, Tyler Musselwhite, Emmy Dronet, Thomas Dronet, Alyssa Dronet, Gabe Dronet and Nicolas Dronet; and his brother Ray Dronet. He is also survived by twenty one great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. A rosary will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Evangeline Funeral Home (314 E St Peter St, New Iberia, LA 70560). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (1303 St Jude Ave, New Iberia, LA 70560).
