He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Derouen and Mabel Guillot Derouen; his wife Pamela Boudreaux Derouen; his brother Terry Derouen; his parents-in-law, Malcolm "Mac" and Verna Boudreaux; and his brothers-in-law, Warren Thomas, Tony Boudreaux, Clint Boudreaux and Nathan Boudreaux.
He is survived by: his son Zachary Derouen (Janey); his siblings, Brenda Gaspard (John), Linda Thomas, Judy Vonmosch (Mark), David Derouen (Cindy), Verlin Derouen (Brenda), Raymond Derouen (Sheila), Kenneth Derouen, Wayne Derouen and Donald Derouen (Stacie); his siblings-in-law, Lou Jean Derouen, Darlene Borel (Hansel), Sheila Delahoussaye (Harold), Nanette Dartez (Kevin), Melissa "Missy" DeRouen, Michelle Boudreaux and Mackie Boudreaux (Jeanette); and his pets, Tank, Sable and Panthro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
