With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Bourque of New Iberia, Louisiana, born in Plaquemine, Louisiana, who passed away on February 11, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Hazel King; and her siblings, Vera Dugas, Hilda Gandy and Joseph King. She is survived by: her husband Merlin Bourque of New Iberia; her children, Ricky Bourque (Dawn Delahoussaye Bourque) of Pagosa Springs, Colorado and Lori Bourque Leleux (Woody Leleux) of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Whitney Bourque Marcantel, Chelsea Leleux, Haley Leleux Huffman, Morgan Bourque Jenkins, Brylan Williams, Kennedy Williams Landry and Natalie Bourque; her great grandchildren, Declan, Finn Marcantel and Benton Landry; her brother Jimmy King; her pet Petey; her children-in-law, Woody Leleux, Brent McDonald, Fredy Thomas, Cory Hebert, Billy Hill and Dawn D. Bourque; and her granddaughter Kamryn Bourque.
