He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Charles Butaud and Halli Hanna Butaud; his sister Beverly Butaud Leger; his sister-in-law Lauretta Hudson; and his extended family, Becky and Luther Ross.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Jay Leger; his nieces and nephews, Chrys Leger Bouton, Holland Jay Leger (Danielle), Michael Scott Leger (Lyn) and Bryan Hudson; his great-nieces, Hanna Lea Bouton, Trinity Renee Leger and Aubrey Hudson; his family, Susie Gass, Betsy, Paul Colvin, Dr. Wayne and Deanie Ross; and also, Derek, Cody Nelms, Amy Garth, Beth Easley and Ray Ross.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - New Iberia (502 Jefferson Terrace, New Iberia, LA 70560). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
