She was predeceased by: her father Terrell Darby; her husband Perri Curro; her nephew Garrett Hale; and her brother-in-law David Mark Hale. She is survived by: her mother Dossie Desormeaux Darby; her close friend Ardie Cesario; her children, Brandon Darby (Jennie), Nicholas Barrilleaux (Amy) and Mattie Barrilleaux; her siblings, Susan Hale (Denise Theriot), Michael Chad Darby (Marinette) and Mitchell Darby (Aimee); her grandchildren, Hunter Darby (Kadance McClean), Hailey Rogers (Dylan), Fisher Darby (Brianna Troyer), Noah Barrilleaux, Lyla Barrilleaux and Finn Barrilleaux; her great grandchildren, Hope Rogers, Brooks Rogers, Kooper Darby and Haven Rogers; and her nieces and nephews, Ashley Padilla, Devynne Diaz, Sarah Darby, Seth Darby, Grant Darby and Emilee Darby.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Evangeline Funeral Home (314 E St Peter St, New Iberia, LA 70560). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
