She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence K. "Larry" Dahlstrom; and her parents, Harold Decoux and Maude C. Decoux. She is survived by: her children, Catherine D. Elmer (Walter A.) of New Iberia, David Dahlstrom of Crystal Springs and Amy D. Slantis (Philip) of Odessa, TX; her grandchildren, Kristen M. Castille (Randy) of Youngsville, Jillian C. Musso (Travis Waguespack) of New Orleans and Nicholas Gary of Odessa, TX; her great grandchildren, Bayleigh and Emily Castille; and her sisters-in-law, Sister Libby Dahlstrom of Lafayette and Erica Dahlstrom of New Iberia.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital to continue the research to help in the cure of childhood cancer.
