He was predeceased by : his parents, David Prince Sr. and Revah Doolittle Prince; and his siblings, Dorothy Trautman of Ulgier, Charles Prince, Arnold Prince, Raymond Prince, Elaine Falterman, Russell Prince, Forrest Prince and David Prince, Jr..

He is survived by : his former life partner Darlene Prince; his son Paul Prince (Sheree); his sister Joyce Prince Adams; and his grandchildren, Isabella and Adelyn Prince.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the First Methodist Church of New Iberia (119 Jefferson St, New Iberia, LA 70560). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (200 W Main St, Broussard, LA 70518).
