It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maudry Rouly Romero (New Iberia, Louisiana), who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Joseph Romero; her son Damian Romero; her parents, Douglas Rouly, and Elina Broussard Rouly, Sr.; and her siblings, Isabelle R. Viator, Alvin Rouly and Douglas Rouly, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Romero and Jason Romero (Julie); her grandchildren, Chayse R. Field (Clifford), Abby R. Clark (Justin), Emmy Romero, Blake Romero (Abigail), Maliya Romero and Kayla Romero; and her great grandchildren, Ford Field and Jett Clark.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM. A rosary was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church (2409 Coteau Rd, New Iberia, LA 70560). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
