He is survived by: his mother Frances "Frankie" Alexander of New Iberia; his children, Travis Metzel (Stephanie) of Missouri City and Kristi Bradley of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Victoria Metzel of Missouri City, Texas, Alex Metzel of Missouri City, Texas, Evan Metzel of Missouri City, Texas, Hudson Bradley of Missouri City, Texas and Jaxon Bradley of Missouri City, Texas; his siblings, Michelle Gaspard of Tarpon Springs, Sandy Miller of Baton Rouge and Greg Metzel of New Iberia; and his sister-in-law Beth Metzel.
