He was predeceased by: his wife Dora Romero Meyers; his parents, Laurie Sr. Meyers and Mary Derouen Meyers; and his siblings, Donel J. Meyers Sr. (Nancy), Gale Meyers, Laurie Meyers Jr., Todd Sharpe, David Stevens, Murphy Gary Jr., Dusty Meyers, Tyler Sharpe and Brayton Gary.
He is survived by: his children, Rachel Meyers Sharpe (Todd) of Prairieville, Michelle Meyers Stevens (David) of New Iberia and Brian M. Meyers (Kim) of Broussard; his brother Steven Meyers Sr. of New Iberia; his sister-in-law Pam Meyers of Loreauville; his grandchildren, Dusty J. Meyers (Sarah) of Carencro, Tyler M. Sharpe of Prairieville, Abbey P. Meyers of Broussard and Kaylee N. Sharpe of Prairieville; and his great grandchildren, Savannah R. Meyers, Paisley A. Sharpe and Nathan J. Meyers.
