We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2026, at the age of 82, Nolan William Duplantis Sr. (New Iberia, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, David Michael and Angela Duplantis Daly; his parents, Harold Armand Duplantis and Helen Rist Duplantis; and his siblings, Harold Duplantis (Sonny), Warren Duplantis (Tookie), Larry Duplantis, Gerard Duplantis (Jerry Lee), Carroll Duplantis, Helen Kay Leger and Aileen Broussard (Jo).
He is survived by: his wife Dolores "Dobie" Halphen Duplantis; his children, Darlene (Michael), Noonie (Tonya) and Angie (Joseph); his grandchildren, Micah, Jonah (Paige), Morgan (Peyton), Andrew, Aiden and Ben; his great grandchildren, Rory, Gemma and Archer; and his sisters, Janet Buford and Vicki Holleman. He is also survived by one of ten siblings, with five brothers and four sisters.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Highland Baptist Church (607 Victory Dr, New Iberia, LA 70563). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests continued prayers on their behalf.
