He was predeceased by: his wife Grace Morvant; his parents, Lorita Morvant and Numa Morvant Sr.; and his siblings, Grace Morvant, LJ Morvant and Pearl Pellerin.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Morvant Jr. (Angelle), David Morvant (Clare) and Darlene Corcoran (Bryan); his grandchildren, Jacob Primeaux, Kelsey Dugas, Miranda Landry, Matthew Morvant, Jordan Eslick, Hailey Corcoran and Ashley Corcoran; his great grandchildren, Trevor Primeaux, Violet Primeaux, River Primeaux, Joshua Perrin, Carter Perrin, Rylee Dugas, Kohen Dugas, Kyler Dupuis, Emsley Landry and Sophia Landry; and his siblings, JC Morvant Sr., Paul Movant and Numa Morvant Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
