He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Bonin and Evelyn Fisher Bonin; his wife Doris Dartez Bonin; his sister Barbara Jackson; and his daughter-in-law Becky Gary Bonin.
He is survived by: his children, David Bonin (Emma) and Alison Bonin Mendoza (Scott); his brothers, Donald Bonin and William Bonin; his grandsons, Jared Bonin (Krista) and Zach Mendoza (Megan); and his great grandchildren, Brooks Mendoza, William Bonin, Adeline Bonin, Everett Bonin and AJ Mendoza. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Pellerin Funeral Home (502 Jefferson Terrace, New Iberia, LA 70560). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
