He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Ohlmeyer Spansel and John Anthony Spansel, Sr.; and his brother John Anthony Spansel, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Marie Massimini Spansel; and his brother Michael Spansel (Brenda). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
