Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Aline Reese Collins (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away at the age of 93, on June 22, 2025. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Aline Reese may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Reese and Catherine Reese; her husband William Collins; and her daughters, Gayle and Cathy.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Seiler (John), Cheryl Collins, Ellen Meyers (Michael) and William Collins (Florence). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A Mass will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
