He was predeceased by: his brother Jerry Roy; his sister-in-law Jeanette Roy; his godson Gerard "Bug" Roy; and his niece Christy Roy. He is survived by: his brothers, Kearn Roy and Pat Roy; and his sisters-in-law, Adley Roy and Jeanie Roy of New Roads. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
