He was predeceased by: his parents, William Benjamin LaCoste and Gladys Lucille Villarrubia LaCoste; his wife Mary Jane of Rita's Catholic Church; and his grandson Colin Battard. He is survived by: his children, Mary Hurley (John), Alvin LaCoste, Jr., Patricia Tumminello (Chris), Edward LaCoste (Donna), Angela Pritchard (Scott), Paul LaCoste (Holly), Linda Salaun (Russell) and Theresa LaCoste; his grandchildren, Chris LaCoste (Jen), Kevin LaCoste (Ashley), Kate Tumminello (Jay Mefferd), Cameron LaCoste (Trilby), Sam Tumminello, Matthew LaCoste, Christine LaCoste Sorensen, Kelsey LaCoste, Patrick Hurley (Lauren), Ellen McCandless (John), Melissa Pritchard, Leslie LaCoste, Jenna Pritchard, Carolyn Bagert (Hayden), Ally Pritchard, Jessica Salaun, Riley Battard (Nick Villarreal) and Molly Battard; and his great grandchildren, Claiborne LaCoste, Harrison LaCoste, Ryder LaCoste, Evangeline LaCoste, Christopher Mefferd, Margot Bagert, Hudson LaCoste, Samantha Mefferd, Charlotte Mefferd and Killian Battard.
