He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Green Perkins, III and Maudrey Mae Perkins; his siblings, Joseph G. Perkins, IV, Abigail Perkins and Faith Hampton; and his grandchildren, Tierra Le'Nay and Journee Perkins.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara C. Perkins; his children, Ayisheya, Jessica, Antoinette, Jasmin, Anthony Jr., J'Nea, Jo'Nell, Timothy Perkins and MacAnthony Fryar; and his sisters, Lutre'Pichon and Maudrey Jones. He is also survived by thirty one grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
