He is survived by: his son Demetrius Sanders; his brother Hughes Sanders (Mildred); his girlfriend Brenda West; his grandchildren, DaVonte'Cortes Jeanmarie and Mariah Sullen; his aunt Theresa August; his nieces, Dionne Carter (Alfred Jr.), Latrice and Ashley Sanders; his great-nieces, Angelle Riley (Avery Jr.) and Angelique Carter; his great-nephew Alfred Carter III; his daughter-in-law Michelle Francis-Sullen; his godchild Robin Burras; and his cousin Ronald Dobard. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
