With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Estelle Aubert (New Orleans, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Barbara's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Barbara's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Freddie Estelle and Emma Jean Brown; her children, James A. C. Lawson, III, Robert Lawson, Sabrina L. Simmons, Woodrow Lawson and Miquel C. Aubert, Sr.; and her sisters, Dr. Betty J. Crockett and Elaine E. Allen. She was also cherished by two grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Fifth African Baptist Church (3419 S Robertson St, New Orleans, LA 70115). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
