Barbara A. Baxter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara A. Baxter (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald John Baxter, Sr. and Rita Kilian Baxter; her siblings, Gerald John Baxter, Jr., David Patrick Baxter and Jane Frolich; her son William Dennis Young; and the father of her children William G. "Bill" Young.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terryl Hakenjos (late Christopher Hakenjos, Sr.) and Kelly A Young (late Michael Richard); her sister Catherine Murphy (Michael Murphy); her grandchildren, Ryan Deffes, Christopher Hakenjos Jr. (Angie), Tara York (Blake), Spencer Richard and Hannah Hakenjos; and her great grandchildren, Chase, Hudson, Gracelyn Hakenjos, Aubriana and Zephyr York. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
