She was predeceased by: her parents, Alan Johnston and Miriam Serio Johnston; her husband Captain Joseph "Tuggy" Charles Johnson; her daughter-in-law Nicole Johnson; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Bensel and Mary Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Johnson (Judy), Robert Johnson, Stacy Johnson and Carey Johnson (Greta); her grandchildren, Christopher Johnson (Madalyn), Nicholas Johnson (Alexa), Megan Bourgeois (Ryan), Patrick Johnson, Bradley Johnson and Laine Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Cooper, Sophie and Joseph.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel (5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:20 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (5190 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
