She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Jones and Florence Coleman Jones; her daughter Jerrie A. Harrell Godfrey (late Kenneth); her goddaughter Loretta Jones Henry; her husband Gerald August Harrell, Sr.; her son-in-law Kenneth Godfrey; and her sisters, Rosemary J. Vaughn and Gloria J. Foster.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Ann Harrell, Gerald August Harrell, Jr. (Patricia "Trudie"), Nicole Ann Harrell, Bridgette Harrell Huntley (Quinn) and Corey Andre'Harrell; her grandchildren, Jentrele, Jarred, Courtney, Gerald, III, Jeremy and Syndi Harrell; her children, Jordan Godfrey (Ash'Leigh), Raven Parker (Patrick, Sr.), Torin Sr. (Kayla), Noah Hawkins, Michael, Marcus and Brianna Huntley; her great grandchild Caleb Adams; her grandchildren, Javian, Yo'el, Ya'ir, Jr., Jordyn Harrell, Syrai Manimoi, Patrick Jr., Raya Parker, Torin "Levi" Jr., Annalia Hawkins and Isabella Huntley; her godchildren, Kerbert Vaugn Jr. and Keshun Carpenter; her sisters, Carolyn J. Parker (Kenneth Sr.) and Henrietta J. Turner (Theodore Jr.); her aunt Delores P. Coleman; and her sisters-in-law, Leola Hamilton, Lorraine Sample, Janice Banks, Velma, Mary and Janette Harrell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Franklin Avenue Baptist Church (8282 I-10 Service Rd, New Orleans, LA 70126). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Franklin Ave Baptist Church (8282 I-10 Service Rd, New Orleans, LA 70126).
