He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferryde F. Joseph Sr. and Jeanette Bingsley Joseph; and his siblings, Sophie L. Walker, Ethel Mae Joseph West, Gwendolyn Vernon, Ferryde F. Joseph Jr., Donald Joseph, Rickey Joseph and Ronald Joseph.

He is survived by: his children, Briana Ware of Texas, Antoinette Williams (Marvin), Alicia Gross Raymond (Elmore Raymond), Benjamin F. Joseph Jr. and Tre M. Joseph; his sisters, Cassandra Fournette of California and Elicia Landers (Louis) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and his great grandchild Mildred Eason. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
